DriverAssist performs an in-depth scan of your entire system and all devices attached to it and verifies that you have the latest and most compatible drivers installed. It determines which drivers are missing, corrupt or obsolete. After the initial scan, DriverAssist matches your device with the latest and most up to date version of your drivers by scanning its 26 million drivers database.
Before DriverAssist installs the new drivers, it performs a backup of your actual drivers just in case the new drivers would turn out to be incompatible with your system or device. This is an added security for your computer. Lastly, DriverAssist downloads all the files required and installs the drivers for you. Your drivers are now up to date and your device should now be working exactly as it should. What Are Drivers? Sony VAIO E series SVE15117FG: AMD graphics driver isn't supported by Intel graphics adapter. I tried to update the Intel graphics adapter but this time Intel doesn't recognize the AMD graphics driver OR the card itself, telling me to contact my computer manufacturer. I've downloaded a driver manager and it tells me that my vaio has an outdated 'thermal control driver' for my CPU. If that's an existing, legit driver, where can I download it?
And How can I update my drivers? Additionally, my vaio is going crazy hot when I play games (90+ celcius), Is that normal? Help will be very much appreciated.
Have you also tracked your CPU temperatures? You can use HWMonitor to track CPU and GPU temperatures. 90+ C is not good. If your laptop isn't under warranty anymore, I'd suggest considering a cooling mod. A cooling mod WILL VOID your warranty. This basically entails replacing thermal compound, adding additional thermal pads to chipset controllers (assuming that it's not already covered by the heatsink and fan assembly).
And using copper shims to fill gaps between the CPU, GPU, etc and the heatsink and fan assembly.

When from Microsoft came announcing a free upgrade for WIndows 10, Microsoft ran a scan of my computer and said that It would be compatible for the upgrade. I received a message from Sony to postpone until the drivers are made available in August (this month). I read some of the posts in this site saying some models will not be supported and that some upgraded drivers will not be until November, that some Vaio models will not be supported, etc. To make a long story short, I am confused: Here are some questions I need answered: 1) Will Sony come through with the necessary drivers?
2) Will the upgrade work on my machine? 3) Has anyone else with a similar machine gone ahead with the update? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Hi, Welcome to Sony Community! Sony made an announcement regarding Windows 10 update for Vaio computers.
